Mission Work

Mission work

COVID protocols are in place at all functions.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast is provided to those in need Monday through Friday from 9:15AM to 9:45AM. Volunteers prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes for guests each day along with hot coffee and conversation.

The Giving Tree

Back to School brings about many needs for families in the community. Through a loving congregation we are able to provide clothing, back packs, school supplies, and school fees for over 100 students in our community.

The Harvest Table

Nonperishable food is collected in the month of November and delivered to the local food pantry to be distributed in time for Thanksgiving.

The Mitten Tree

During the month of December, we collect hats, gloves, scarves, and warm socks for school aged children. The collected items are then delivered to local elementary schools to be distributed to students in need.

Mission Committee

The First Presbyterian Church Mission Committee works throughout the year to provide needs for the local community in a variety of ways. When a need is discovered, the Committee addresses the need in whatever way they are able to help.  Various collections are taken throughout the year for the local food pantry in terms of nonperishable food and paper products. There is also a collection drive in February for personal hygiene items that are distributed to our Breakfast Club guests on a monthly basis.
