The Staff of FPC Troy
Rev. Dr. Frank T. Rupnik III
Pastor
Rev Frank grew up in Troy, OH, with his wife, Stephanie, and they are both graduates of Troy High School. After serving in the Navy, attending seminary in Louisville, KY, and pastoring churches in Loveland, OH, and Brooklyn, MI, he was blessed with the opportunity to return here, where he has served since 2018. Rev. Frank has a Bachelors Degree, three Master's Degrees, and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree. He is also a graduate of Leadership Troy, and in addition to being our pastor, he serves as a Navy Reserve Chaplain. When he isn't actively working in ministry, he loves watching movies and spending time with his children, Frank, Henry, and Sylvia.
Stefanie Swift
Program Director
Stefanie Swift has been the Program Director at FPC since January 1, 2016. Stefanie moved to Troy from Pennsylvania, where she worked for a District Court Judge. Stefanie is married to Aaron Swift and is mother to one son, Owen. Stefanie likes to spend her free time cooking and baking, on the beach in Hilton Head and watching Steelers football.
Jonathan Gaul
Audio & Video Technician
Jonathan graduated from the Wright State University School of Music with his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in 2021 and is currently teaching elementary music at Brookville Elementary School. Jonathan has performed as the audio and video technician at FPC since October of 2018.
Jonathan is married to his high school sweetheart, Abby and together they had their first son, Rowan. He enjoys the outdoors, playing the saxophone and the guitar.
Tom George
Treasurer
Tom was born in North Star, Ohio, and raised in Versailles. He is a graduate of Versailles High School. He earned a Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wright State University and is a retired teacher from Troy City Schools. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and visiting with friends. He and wife Tara are parents of one daughter and three grandchildren.
Kathy McIntosh
Choir Director
Kathy was born and raised in Troy, Ohio, and has been the church's Choir Director since 1988. She graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and received her Master of Education and Teacher Leadership from Wright State University. Kathy loves fast sports cars, baseball, and motorcycling. She also collects Fisher-Price Little People. She is married to Bill, and they live in Troy, OH.
Dr. Nanyi (Neil) Qiang
Organist
Dr. Nanyi Qiang is a pianist, organist, and music educator. He has established a wide-ranging career spanning chamber musician, soloist, and pedagogue. In 2021, his latest recording album “DUO SHU” was released by Blue Griffin. Dr. Qiang has appeared to public acclaim in venues including Carnegie Hall, Stanford, San Francisco New Music Center. He is an alumnus of Music Academy of the West. Dr. Qiang is on the piano faculty of Central State University, OH. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. He has been a frequent adjudicator such as MTNA Competitions as well as giving masterclasses in numerous institutions. He lives with his pianist wife Minjie and a Corgi dog “Shaomai”. www.neilnanyiqiang.com
