February is FISH Month

During the month of February, our church has the responsibility of keeping the FISH pantry filled to help hungry people in the Troy area. Please bring
non-perishable groceries to the church.

Suggested items are:
Canned fruits and veggies/Rice and cereals/Canned juice/Peanut butter
Tuna fish and salmon/Soups and dried beans/Powered milk/pasta
Shampoo/bath soap/Cleaning supplies/Paper products

If you prefer to give a cash donation, please make your check payable to First Presbyterian Church and mark for “FISH”. The checks can be sent to the church office or placed in the offering plate.

An FPC Lenten Devotional is being produced for use during this Lenten season. Deadline for submittin your Faith Story is February 10th. Please send to Kathy at kwehrman@fpctroy.org 

New Member Class

If you are interested in being a part of the New Member class, we will be meeting on Sundays starting Feb. 12, Feb 19, and Feb. 26 from 9:45 - 10:45am in the church library and Feb. 26th from 5-7pm in the Upper Gathering Area. Ash Wednesday

You are invited to a time of prayer, personal reflec-tion and the imposition of ashes in our sanctuary with quiet music play-ing the background at the following times:
6:00 am – 7:00 am; 9:30 am- 10:30 am; 11:45 am – 12:45 pm;
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm; and 6:45 pm– 7:45 pm

Mission Opportunities.

Work Project for No Income/Low Income Men - Woody Chambers has been assisting homeless, no income/very low income men find work projects to earn some income. They need jobs anytime of the year especially in winter. They do snow shoveling, moving/hauling and construction work at very reasonable rates. Woody coordinates and supervises all work and ensures quality. References available. Call Woody at 570-0213.
