About Us
We here at First Presbyterian Church consider
ourselves a small downtown church committed to community service.
We serve our community through our involvement with the Fish program helping to
feed those who need help with food. We also have the Giving tree,
through which we help school children by providing school supplies, fees and
clothing. In the summer we work in the Summer Lunch program which
provides lunch and games for children who are out of school and may not
otherwise have a lunch.
We help to serve our fellow man with the Mitten tree, where we provide hats and mittens for children who do not have them for the winter and our adult mission trips, One Great Hour of Sharing and many other programs that help those outside our community.
